CallisonRTKL|北京T School挑战者学校

01 项目背景

作为一所面向新中产阶级子女的全日制学校,T School希望服务中国家长对素质教育的新需求。基于全新的开放式教学理念,尊重并致力于激发创意,T School邀请CallisonRTKL为其设计一个个性化的教学环境。教学空间浸润在艺术环境下,可以创造更多主动接触美学和知识的机会,激发孩子们的灵感和创意。

T School Project is the first teaching facility of a new established brand, aiming to provide a completely new schooling experience to middle-upper classed families who are willing to take the new step in education reform.

T School's Visions are innovative in many ways: fusion in syllabus, new ideas of teaching, long opening hours and days, it is a school situated within the library context. Creativeness is intrigued with great innovations, CallisonRTKL was invited to work with the new school in creating a unique environment that not only lives up to school motives, but also create an opportunity for these spaces to grow with the school's development and eventually become a standard of its own when the scholl moves into a permanent campus.

02 设计策略

项目位于北京市朝阳区某办公楼2层,距离首都机场约10分钟车程,建筑面积3200平方米。考虑到日后的扩建或搬迁需求,设计元素应具有低成本、高实用性,灵活易拆装,以及良好的再利用性。

T School Project is situated inside an office building in Chaoyang District, Beijing, approx. 10 minutes’ drive from the capital airport. Occupying 3200sqm on 2 storeys with avariable capacity, elements put into the design should be cost effective, practical, and ideally easily dismantled andreused in a new school location.

基于这个项目中涉及到的技术、物联网及其自身属性,团队将其视为“无限校园”的一次实践——不受地理及空间限制,致力于通过体验、沟通和社会化学习组成的永动齿轮,驱动学校适应性前行,并实现无限的可能性。

Technology, IoT and nature of this project allowed the team to view it as a part of an infinite campus, un-restricted by location, becoming a timeless gear wheel dedicated to learning through experience, communication, and socialization. And adapting itself to drive motion thus enabling endless possibilities.

03 空间

除了主入口和建筑核心筒区域外,学校的首层空间包括艺术、音乐和舞蹈教室等专业教学空间、多功能活动空间、厨艺教室和小型舞台。同时还设有一个室内小型游乐场,以弥补缺少室外场地的缺陷。

二层空间较封闭,留给需要安静环境的图书馆,开放空间或建筑节点也都为学生阅读和交流服务,教室则沿建筑外围排布。

In addition to the main entrance and core area that serves the entire building, 1st floor is a collection of specialty learning spaces including Art, Music and Dance, and multifunctional spaces to host events, a kitchen space for cooking sessions, and small stage for the atrical performances. A small playground is fitted indoors to make up for the lack of outdoor grounds.

The 2nd floor is a quiet library setting that doubles as main circulation, open spaces or nodes were integrated for students to read a book or mingle, classrooms are arranged along the building envelope. 

教室为小班设计,教室内有一个抬高的地台,以300mm的高低差呈现,以便布线和减少热/冷负荷,地台延伸到窗边,学生可以坐在阳光下听老师讲故事。

Classrooms are designed for small classes, the rooms are placed on a raised floor to allow for cabling and aid in reducing heating/cooling loads, the raised floors drop down to slab level next to the façade for a small gathering area under the sun.

厨艺教室将在厨柜完成后全面投入运行。

The Kitchenette will be fully operational once kitchen cabinets are complete.

舞蹈和声乐教室除窗墙和一个立面作为舞蹈教学需要的镜子柜门墙以外,其它剩余的顶面和立面着重于音效增效,通过斜面安装提高声学性能,同时带出房间的性格。

Music and Dance Room hangs a series of acoustic panels at a rhythmic pattern promotes movement and maximize acoustic performance.

艺术教室内,多层次的彩色管道制造出立体雕塑形象,日常也可以挂学生作品。在满足房间功能需求的基础上,留给学生发挥创意的空间。

每个房间的功能与个性都由天花所定义,这些天花不仅具有实用性和装饰性,同时留出墙体空间供学生作品展示之用。

Art Room additional decorative pipes add fullness to the existing MEP ductworks and are colored to become asculptural ceiling, from which students’ artwork could be hung. 

The overall character of each roomis defined in the ceiling, providing a decorative yet functional plane and leaving wall spaces to be enriched by student work.
