新落成的嘉会国际医院是上海首家外资综合性国际医院之一，致力于提供高效、综合性、以患者为中心的医疗服务。

上海嘉会国际医院位于徐汇区，是一家采用国际标准的外资综合性医院，设500张床位，总投资额达5亿美金，是目前上海市最大的中外合资医院。从设计到运营，嘉会国际医院致力于采用国内外的最佳实践准则，成为国际先进、国内一流的综合性医疗机构，以患者为中心、使患者在国内即可享受一体化、人性化、国际标准的综合医疗服务，同时开展医护专业人才的培养以及临床科研。

该园区包含住院楼、门诊楼、手术及医技楼、急诊部、肿瘤中心及其他功能空间。医院的一期已于2017年完工，共设246张床位。二期将容纳500张床位。

为了打造一座花园式的医院，该项目设计的主要目标之一是将自然光照和绿化设计融入空间。大型的公园式中央庭院及花草树木散步小径不仅构成了自然绿化景观且构成了建筑内部重要的导向系统。中央庭院则是项目的中心位置，从较低楼层的大部分位置都可直接看到，这是营造整个园区舒适氛围不可或缺的重要元素。

医院里协助雨水处理的花园也是此项目成为全中国首间医院获得LEED医疗金级认证的元素之一。其他可持续性设计元素包括红陶外墙可减少热能吸收、高效性中央能源站、以及健康材料的使用。

The new Jiahui International Hospital is one of Shanghai’s first private hospitals focused on delivering efficient, comprehensive and patient-focused healthcare.

Shanghai Jiahui International Hospital is a privately owned, international-standard, and tertiary level hospital that is centrally located in the Xuhui District. At total investment of $500 million and 500 licensed beds, it is currently the largest, foreign-invested joint venture hospital in Shanghai. From design to operation, Jiahui uses best practices to be an internationally recognized, leading medical institution in China, providing high-quality, patient-centric, and integrated healthcare services, professional training and clinical research.

The campus includes an inpatient bed tower, outpatient clinics, interventional suites, an emergency department, an oncology center, and other specialized uses. The first phase of the hospital was completed in 2017 with a total of 246 beds. Phase two will bring the capacity to 500 beds.

Envisioned as a “hospital in a garden,” bringing natural light and greenery into the space was a major design goal for the project. A large, park-like central courtyard with trees, shrubbery, grasses and pathways is a key design element and acts as a primary wayfinding device within the building. Visible from most areas on the lower levels, the courtyard is the heart of the project, giving the campus a true sense of place.

By helping to manage stormwater on-site, the gardens were also a factor in the project becoming the first-ever LEED HC GOLD certified hospital in China. Additional sustainability features include the terracotta facade that reduces solar heat gain, a highly efficient central energy plant and healthy materials throughout.
