1.1用地历史背景/ Historical background of the base

基地选址于济南绿地普利中心，位于山东省济南市古城片区西部，处于城市新老区交界地带，是济南市中西部CBD地区之一。普利街区在明清时期位于老城墙西面，清朝末年城外西部地区成为贸易商埠，城区和商埠区联系日益密切，而该区作为老城区与商埠区的交界地带在历史上发挥了重要作用，在这个东西方文化融合、新老故事交织的地区，诞生了许多富于中西合璧和集仿主义风格的建筑。特殊的区位位置决定了该区建筑活动的多元化和建筑风貌的混血化，向现代人昭示着：这里从来就是个空间时间包容性很强的区域，接纳面向未来的立体农场也不是问题。

The base is located in the Puli Center which is in the western Jinan city of Shandong province. It is in the border of the old city and the new one, and that lies in one of the CBD areas in middle and western Jinan. The Puli blocks are in the west side of the old city walls during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Then in the late Qing dynasty the western region just outside the city became the trade commercial parts. The downtown and the commercial parts became increasingly close day by day. As the border of the old city and the commercial port area, this base has played an important role in history. Many buildings which are full of Chinese and western elements were born in a place where east and west cultural blended and many new and old stories happened. Special geographical location determines the diversity of construction activity in this area as well as the building’s style. It implies something to the modern people that this is always a place with good adaptabilities, and admitting a vertical farm in the future is absolutely not a problem.

1.2用地范围、现状/ The scope of land and present situation of site

济南绿地普利中心坐落于济南市历史悠久的商业聚集区，先天占据普利街、共青团路、顺河高架路黄金三角聚拢之地，山、泉、湖环绕，不论是从商圈、地段、规划、交通还是人流等来看，都是商业体运营成功的天然良港，地理优势明显。基地西濒经四路与顺河高架，北临普利街，南部是共青团路。主塔楼近300米，是济南市第一高楼。鹤立鸡群的高度和巨大的体量使其成为济南市绝对的新地标。但是普利中心也存在诸多问题，并不能充分发挥其应有作用。故拟以此为基础新建一大型建筑群，整合立体农业、办公、商业等功能于一体，并通过管道系统辐射至周边，提供农产品、水、电力服务，以更好地发挥普利中心应有作用。

The Puli center is located in the old-line commercial hub in Jinan, occupying the prime location which is surrounded by the Puli Street and the Gongqing Road as well as the Shunhe Viaduct. The base is surrounded by mountains and springs and lakes. When it comes to no matter the business district and the location and the planning and the traffic or the people, this base seems to be a good backing for a successful operation of a commercial stuff. The base is adjacent to Jingsi Road and the Shunhe Viaduct. It is near the Puli Street in the north and the Gongqing Road in the south. The main tower is about 300 meters tall, becoming the tallest building in Jinan. Standing out in a crowd with a huge body makes it the undisputed landmark in Jinan city. However, the Puli Center has many problems, so it has not given full play to its due role. On the basis of the original buildings we rebuild some large architectural complex, integrating the vertical farm, office buildings and commercial buildings into an organic whole and providing agricultural products and water and power to the surroundings trough the maglev pipeline. In this way, the Puli Center will play a better role in this city.

2设计内容说明/Design explanation

2.1 设计背景/Design background

随着中国城市的发展以及人口的日益增多，中国的耕地面积也越发紧张，粮食问题已经成为城市发展建设中越来越重要的问题。而农场向城市转变也成为农业发展的必然趋势。本设计选址于山东济南新旧城交界处的四大商圈之内，是对济南第一高楼普利绿地中心大楼的挑战再造，新建成一个兼有部分办公功能的垂直农场的项目。

As the development of the Chinese cities and the growth of the population, the Chinese arable land becomes less and less and food problem has become one of the most serious problems in the process of the urban constructions. Farms’ turning into city ground also becomes the inevitable trend of agricultural development. This design selects its site in a business district in the border of the old city and the new one, challenging the tallest building -the Puli Center and rebuilding it into a vertical farm with office functions.
